Assembly Technician

Reporting line
Reports to shop lead hand / Production Manager / Director

Location
Assembly shop consisting of Potting & Sealing, Media Blast and all Assembly areas

Main responsibilities

  • Build assemblies, sub-assemblies and Potting and sealing
  • Complete daily work assignments and scheduling of work within the overall productions schedule
  • Comply with company policies
  • Ensure work areas are cleaned and prepared for the day’s work and shop log books completed
  • Ensure use their PPE per company policies including, but not limited to safety glasses, etc.
  • Assure all paperwork requirements are kept current with job progress
  • Perform / participate in product cause and corrective actions
  • Performs job duties in accordance with approved procedures
  • Performs other related job duties as assigned

Knowledge and skills
several years of hands on experience, drawing / blue print reading experience

Bond Shop Lead Hand

Reporting line
Reports to Production Manager / Director

Location
Bond shop consisting of pre-fit, Controlled Contamination Area, Cold bond and Autoclave areas

Main responsibilities

  • Build metal bond assemblies
  • Direct bond room personnel in daily function
  • Establish daily work assignments and scheduling of work within the overall productions schedule
  • Provide training for department technicians
  • Enforce company policies e.g. time keeping, cell phone use etc
  • Performs employee corrective actions
  • Communicate directives and issue between shop personnel and management
  • Ensure CCA is cleaned and prepared for the day’s work and shop log books completed
  • Ensure all employees are using their PPE per company policies including, but not limited to safety glasses, etc.
  • Assure all paperwork requirements are kept current with job progress
  • Perform / participate in product cause and corrective actions
  • Performs job duties in accordance with approved procedures
  • Performs other related job duties as assigned

Knowledge and skills
several years of hands on experience, and previous leadership experience

Metal Bond Technician

Reporting line
Reports to Shop Lead Hand and Production Manager / Director

Location
Bond shop consisting of pre-fit, Controlled Contamination Area, Cold bond and Autoclave areas

Main responsibilities

  • Layup and bag metal bond assemblies
  • Reads work orders, follows production planning
  • Positions and aligns parts and fabrics in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixtures, or other holding devices and tools
  • Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified dimensional characteristics
  • Responsible for maintaining reasonable and acceptable attendance
  • Responsible for performing job duties in a manner consistent with Company Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
  • Responsible for working a manner consistent with established safety rules and regulations and the use and maintenance of required personal protective equipment; including, but not limited to safety glasses, etc.
  • Performs job duties in accordance with approved procedures
  • Performs other related job duties as assigned

Quality Engineer

Reporting line
Reports to Quality Manager

Location
Bensalem, PA

General Description

  • Assist the Quality manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system
  • Interface with Engineering and Production with the transfer of new products to production readiness (part qualifications)
  • Support Quality Inspectors to ensure products and processes comply with requirements
  • Conduct audits, including creating/closing out audit findings, create audit plans, determine proper corrective and preventive actions
  • Responsible for planning and organizing the overall activities of receiving/in-process/outgoing quality functions

Work Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the role of Quality Engineer
  • Knowledgeable with Metal Bonding & Composites (desirable)
  • Basic Math, Filing, Computer Skills (Including, but not limited to Microsoft Suite and Visio)
  • Ability to Read Blue Prints and Interpret Customer Specifications
  • Knowledge of Basic Precision Measurement
  • Ability to Read and Write English
  • Effective Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • FAI (AS9102), Receiving, In-Process, and Final Inspections
  • Must have had prior auditing experience (AS9100)
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems
  • Work independently and proactively

Education Requirements
High school diploma/GED or higher

Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description
Brenner Aerostructures a privately-held women owed-business specializing in the fabrication of metal bonded and sheet metal assemblies for the aerospace industry is seeking a manufacturing engineer.

In this position you will review customer drawings and or models using CATIA to convertthem for manufacturing; develop manufacturing plans for parts and assemblies;collaborate with our customers engineering team to resolve technical issues and to ensure that we meet our customers quality and delivery requirements.

Appropriate degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

The ideal candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of aircraft manufacturing, CATIA V5 experience, strong working knowledge of sheet metal and sheet metal manufacturing and metal bonding experience would be a huge plus.
